Hockley Hustle is a charity music festival based in Nottingham showcasing 300+ bands across 40+ venues raising money for local causes.

We're producing a collaborations album with 20 of Notts best artists working together to raise money for homeless charity Emmanuel House. 1 track will be released each month ahead of the full album release later in 2021.

The most characteristic sounds of Chinese music are those made by the erhu, a two stringed instrument of extraordinary eloquence. Ling’s career in music began as a child prodigy at the age of seven, performing to thousands during the Cultural Revolution in China, and where her technical virtuosity won her a place at the prestigious Sichuan Conservatory of Music as their youngest ever student of the erhu. Ling would say “I play from the heart”, a philosophy which informs every choice taken she has made and path travelled since.

Founder of Phlexx Records, Trekkah has been making big waves on the U.K. Afro-House scene, pushing his token sound of ‘Bubble and Bounce’ in an array of live shows and streamed sets. Hailing from the fantastic Nottingham T.O.N.E.S collective, Trekkah has been instrumental in curating events and radio shows, presenting a collective of established and rising international stars from the scene.
